There are 14 countries situated on South American continent that are close in spirit to Russian people. This list consists of Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Guyana, French Guiana, Paraguay, Columbia, Peru, Bolivia, Suriname, Uruguay, Chili, Folklend islands and Ecuador. These countries’ export goes mainly to their neighbors such as Canada and The USA. Nevertheless the first sea route to Russia was opened in 2010. Since then our trading relationships are growing day by day.
Every South American country has its own peculiarities in export of products and raw materials.
Uruguay – one of the most developed countries of South America. Russian export consists of skin production, wine, meat, fish and cheese.
Argentina – this country is the most advanced in industry on the continent. Exports automotive parts and ferrous metals products, seafoods.
Peru – like many Latino-American countries Peru's main export consists of agricultural products including leather, wool and yarn. It also exports zinc.
Brazil – exports in Russia coffee grains, sugar, beef and pork.
The other neighboring countries' export is much alike – mainly fruits, vegetables and meat.
Loads are transported to Russia commonly from the ports of Argentina and Brazil through the ports of Hamburg, Belgium and the Baltic.
